PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was pulled Sunday against the New York Giants in his first start since he injured his left hamstring on Oct. 6.
Vick was replaced by Matt Barkley late in the second quarter. Vick was 6 of 9 for 31 yards and threw an interception on Philadelphia's drive of the game. He had little mobility and did not appear close to recovered. He missed the last two games.
Vick rode the stationary bike between drives while Barkley warmed up on the sideline for most of the second quarter.
Barkley replaced Vick with the Eagles trailing 12-0. Vick sat on the bench with a towel on his head for Barkley's first snap.
Nick Foles, who started last week for the Eagles, was inactive after he suffered a concussion.
