Award-winning country music star Toby Keith is planning a benefit concert to help victims of the deadly tornadoes that hit Oklahoma in May.

"I grew up in Moore, I live in Norman and I've got lots of family and friends who were directly affected," Keith said. Moore, Okla. was the city hardest hit by the storm, and nearby Norman is where the concert will be held. "I know these folks, and they're resilient, but we're going to keep helping them any way we can. I'm proud to get together with some others from around here who are just as committed as I am to supporting these communities."

Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and Willie Nelson will also perform.

"I told Toby we were at his service for whatever he chose to do," Brooks said. "It is an honor to get to be a part of this healing process."

Keith's concert, dubbed the "Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert," will be held July 6 at the University of Oklahoma. Tickets will go on sale June 21 and will cost $25.

Singer Blake Shelton raised more than $6 million for those affected by the storms with his "Healing in the Heartland" concert held on May 29.
