Morning Markets October 1 - Business Insider

Last night it looked like markets were going to start with a bout of risk off.

But things have turned around after all the PMI reports, and things are looking up, at least for now.

Europe is particularly strong across the board, with Italy gaining 1.4%, and Spain and Germany gaining a little less.

Besides PMIs, the other big news out of Europe over the weekend is the chatter in papers about how Greece is likely to get its next slug of aide from the Germans.

US futures are up solidly ahead of more data, including the US PMI.
